Golden

Golden is a collection of gold paper relief sculptures. The artist’s childhood love for paper folding is explored here in these mandala designs. The process of folding paper is limitless in creating designs, very similar to mandalas which possess a limitless potential in its division of symmetry. There is a focus on geometry, symmetry, shapes and simplicity of repeated shapes to create forms, textures and designs. This collection of six inspired a collection of geometric acrylic paintings.
