IN THE MOUNTAINS

In the Mountains is a beautiful collection that captures the ’emotions’ of the mountains as the seasons change.
Transitioning from the intense ‘dry season’ (hot and humid weather) to the ‘wet season,’ (rainy weather), there are the brilliant sights of the poui trees in the mountains and in spaces and places that we usually do not usually notice, until a poui appears. The phases of Sahara dust on hazy mornings, sights of parched earth and burning trees are all parts of the mountains that die and reborn again from the outpouring of rain every season.
The mountains go through transitions, seasons, changes and phases that are comfortable but uncomfortable and intense but beautiful.

“Transitions in the seasons relate to emotions. They come and go and do not last forever. I’ve personified the mountains as something alive with emotions. “
