A change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one.
Metamorphosis I is one of the newest 2024 collections from the artist’s studio. Inspired by her iconic Chinese ink painting collection, this collection sees the greatest evolution of shape, design, expression, approach to art making and use of ink. There was the introduction of a layered collage approach, emphasizing abstract elements of movement, signifying the fusion of the elements of the water, waves, mountains, winds, clouds and the sky. There is a dynamic play of an interconnection of these elements as they move harmoniously with each other.

I destroyed half the collection by cutting it into pieces to create a collage that was layered onto these paintings.”

The Metamorphosis collection was used as inspiration to design the Motif costumes for the Paparazzi Carnival band for Carnival 2025.
