“Learning to live is learning to let go. ” – Sogyal Rinpoche
A beautiful collection of over 75 new chinese ink paintings with a new style blossoms in this body of work. Inspired by the artist’s travels to Europe and exploring many art galleries and museums, the artist seeks a more contemporary approach to her paintings with overlays of illustrations on the ink paintings to explore the abstraction in the work. The overlays of white, gold and blue are playful experiments on meditation and liberation which are involved in the process of creation. While meditation involves focus, liberation involves letting go and focuses on the spontaneous.
