Inspired by the artist’s travels to Europe and exploring many art galleries and museums, the artist seeks a more contemporary approach to her paintings with overlays of illustrations on the chinese ink inspired paintings, to explore the abstraction an greater expression in the work.

2022
The cutting saga began here in December 2022, when the artist first started to cut all her collections of about 100 paintings into pieces to recreate new collections. This was the birth of new inspiration for the artist as she began to delve into a more contemporary approach to her studio work.
2019 – 2021
A beloved art style the artist is well known for is her chinese inspired ink paintings. This collection of selected works are iconic as they represent her most classic and popular works from a certain time period in her artistic career. Having done hundred of paintings in this style, this is her art style she developed and mastered based working in monochrome, using inks and understanding minimalist brush strokes in paintings to capture form and moment.
